Traktor Kontrol S4Mk3, Traktor Kontrol S3 with custom Sennheiser HD25 Aluminium headphones.
All files used are .wav. I NEVER EVER use .mp3, just AAC @256kbps on iPad for capacity purposes.
I'm with Richie Hawtin and Felix Da Housecat on the sync button - beatmaching is a skill that ANYONE can learn (I did in under 2 weeks on vinyl) so the sync button is just convenient...but NOT to be trusted implicitly. I analyze all my files, but NEVER EVER beatgrid 'em (I wouldn't have time), so if they're not perfect (and they frequently aren't) then I correct 'em by ear. The skill is in the choosing/order of the tracks and the mixing/EQ/FX - and absolutely NO SOFTWARE is going to teach you that :-D
